AUSTRAL JOURNAL OF VETERINARY SCIENCES

The Austral Journal of Veterinary Sciences (AJVS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, non-profit academic journal by the Universidad Austral de Chile that publishes original scientific contributions in veterinary sciences, covering a wide range of topics, including animal welfare, pathophysiology, epidemiology, zoonoses, animal production, public health, wildlife, and other subjects.

Since its founding in 1969, AJVS has worked continuously to maintain high-quality publication standards and best editorial practices, providing support to authors throughout the publication process. Currently, the journal is transitioning to a complete digital publication model and working towards enhancing readers’ experience.

    Austral Journal of Veterinary Sciences, formerly Archivos de Medicina Veterinaria, publishes original scientific contributions in english, containing the latest developments and discoveries in veterinary sciences. The journal covers topics such as animal health and production, preventive medicine, zoonosis, pharmacology and therapeutics, methods of diagnosis, and other areas related to the veterinary field.
